Commercial Linux Applications
Bordeaux is a proprietary version of Wine that installs and configures Windows applications. The Bordeaux suite enables access to these programs and data in a seamless and low cost manner without requiring licensing of Microsoft Technology.
Bordeaux for Linux 2.0.8 was released with support for Microsoft Office 2007, 2003, 2000, 97, Visio 2003, Project 2003, Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 6, FireFox 3.6.8 and multimedia plug ins, Apples Safari 5.0, Adobe Photoshop 7, Adobe Image Ready 7, Adobe Photoshop 6, Adobe Image Ready 3, QuickTime Player 6.5.2, Google SketchUp 7.1, VLC 1.1.0, and IrfanView 4.27 (Image support only at this time) and Pulse Audio Support. There has also been many small bug fixes and tweaks on the back-end to improve the speed and reliablity of all the supported applications.
With version 2.0.0 and onward we bundle our own Wine build and many tools and libraries that Wine depends upon. With this release we bundle Wine 1.2, Cabextract, DIB Engine, Pulse Audio, Mozilla Gecko, Unzip, Wget and other support libraries and tools.
Bordeaux 2.0.8 was built on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, so you will need to have GLIBC 2.11 or higher before Bordeaux will work properly.
We have i386 and x86_64 deb's, rpm's and sh installers that have been tested on a wide variety of Linux distributions.
